WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - May is gone, and we're now entering June, the month with the longest daylight hours of the year. That means many Floridians will be out shopping later in the evening as well, according to the website dealnews.com . But that doesn't mean it's a great time to buy everything.

Right now, summer clothing is on sale, as stores start making way for back to school clothing. But it's still not a great time to buy grills or tools: one reason being that Father's Day is coming up, and guy stuff is in demand.

Dealnews.com says June is a great time for clothing and lingerie, especially with Victoria's Secret semi annual sale. It's also a great month for a refurbished iPad 2: down to $320 at the Apple store. And it's a great month to book a cruise, with hurricane season starting.

But it's not a good time yet to buy a grill: sales start on the 4th of July. It's also a bad month for deals on tools, as everyone wants them for Father's Day. And don't look for deals on sandals just yet. Dealnews.com says if you can wait until after the 4th of July, you'll find huge markdowns on tools, grills, and all types of outdoor furniture and equipment.
