In an effort to compete with other Black Friday deals, Amazon is selling a large selection of smartphones for only one penny.

The Internet giant is offering the deal on smartphones from AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. Phone like the Motorola Droid Razr -- which normally sells for $299 -- is selling for just 1 cent. The Samsung Galaxy S II - normally $199 - is also on sale for a penny. As is the BlackBerry Torch - normally $99. The phones require a two-year contract with purchase.

Amazon is also offering another deal with the purchase. Buyers who activate the 'hotspot' feature on their phone when they purchase it will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.
