Apple has announced its one-day Black Friday shopping event.

The sale starts online at 3 a.m. eastern time and continues in Apple Retail stores all day Friday, Nov. 23.

No word on what's going to be on sale, but there is a gigantic picture of an iPad on the promotion announcement. We'll update you when we know more. Last year, Apple offered more than $60 off iPads and $100 off Macs, according to CNET .
