7-Eleven Free Slurpee Day as 7-Eleven celebrates its birthday

(EndPlay Staff Reports) - What better way to cool off during the heat wave sweeping the nation that to get yourself a Slurpee at your local 7-Eleven – for free. That's right, it's 7-Eleven Day, again.

According to 7-Eleven's official website , head on over to your local 7-Eleven convenience store between the hours of 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. and pick up your free 7.11 oz. Slurpee of your choosing.

If you're really serious about your Slurpee, you even have the option to RSVP to the event that celebrates 7-Eleven's birthday on their Facebook page .

The store writes on their Facebook event page, "Stop by a participating 7-Eleven store and pick up your FREE 7.11 oz. Slurpee drink. Maybe nibble on a birthday donut while you're there. And make a wish or something."

This time, there are a lot more Slurpee flavors to choose from.

Back in May, 7-Eleven released a line of new sugar-free Slurpee flavors along with a promotion for a free Slurpee to try them, The Los Angeles Times reported.

Here are some Slurpee flavors to consider before heading out to get your free Slurpee:

• Fanta Banana
• Sprite Snowball Blast
• Mango Melody
• Berry Citrus Slam
• Twisted Citrus

The above are specialty flavors, so in case your participating 7-Eleven doesn't carry them, you can never go wrong with the traditional cherry and Coke flavors.
