PHOENIX - We use our smartphones to get directions, find restaurants and look-up recipes. But now we're looking at ways you can use it to save money, too.
Cherylyn Feierabend is a mother who has been using coupon apps on her smartphone for over a year.
"If we don't save money we can't have the special things and go on vacations and do the things that families need to do," Feierabend said.
She uses various apps for shopping, restaurants and even attractions. She recently found a great deal at Sea Life Arizona in Tempe. She hasn't kept count but said the savings have racked up.
