Airfare sale offers major discounts for fall travel

Airlines are at it again, offering hundreds of dollars off of round trip fares in an effort to get travelers on their way this fall season.

Travelzoo is offering up this week's top deals and major airlines are hoping to entice potential travelers with BIG savings.

For last minute adventurers, now is the time to book weekend trips anywhere in the U.S.

American, US Airways, Continental, and Delta, among others, have launched sales on routes nationwide for last-minute getaways over the next two weekends. And book fast, because some sales are only good through Oct. 7!

Lufthansa is offering big discounts on fall and winter travel to Europe through March.
