WATCH: Puppy Bowl - an alternative halftime show for dog lovers returns to Animal Planet

In past years there have been interesting, memorable alternatives to the traditional Super Bowl halftime show.

For a few years we had the "Bud Bowl" where animated Budweiser bottles battled Bud Light bottles, each decked out in protective football helmets.

More recently, guys may recall the Lingerie Football League, where ladies played football while wearing lingerie.
