Taylor Swift, Harry Styles: Swift turns 23 with Golden Globe nomination, and Harry Styles?

With a Golden Globe nomination in the best original song category for "Safe & Sound," Taylor Swift has twice the reason to celebrate Thursday, which is also her 23rd birthday.

"Best birthday surprise EVER-just found out that Safe&Sound is nominated for a GOLDEN GLOBE!!" Swift tweeted the morning of December 13.

But according to People magazine, the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" singer may have started the festivities earlier in the week with her rumored new beau, One Direction's Harry Styles.

A fan shared a photo of the two on a jaunt through northern England on Wednesday, and People magazine has overheard that the pop star pair were dining out at a pub about 170 miles north of London on Tuesday night.

But while it's been widely speculated Stateside that Swift moved on from her summer romance with Conor Kennedy to Brit boy bander Styles, onlookers in England thought they looked more like friends.

"[Swift] was polite and pleasant -- fantastic," said Sarah Walker, the manager of the pub where Swift and Styles were seen with friends on Tuesday. "She is just having a nice tour of England. They were like any typical group of people having dinner. Everyone thinks they are a couple, but to be honest, we had no sense of that at all."
