Legoland Florida plans big announcement

Legoland Florida is planning to expand.

The expansion will include a ride and an interactive play area.

The Central Florida theme park will hold a news conference next week and unveil the details.

Legoland Florida is based on the building-block toys and has rides and attractions geared toward ages 2 to 12.

Since opening in October 2011, the park  has added a water park and hotels.

Legoland has more than 50 rides, shows and attractions.
