Kristen Stewart already apologized for her "indiscretion" with director Rupert Sanders yet the 22-year-old actress is making amends once again - although she doesn't say specifically for what.
"It's not a terrible thing if you're either loved or hated. But honestly, I don't care 'cause it doesn't keep me from doing my s***," the "On the Road" actress told Newsweek. "And I apologize to everyone for making them so angry. It was not my intention."
When news broke of Stewart's connection with Sanders, she made sure to also extend her apology to her presumed boyfriend and "Twilight Saga" co-star, Robert Pattinson. Since then, both actors have been intensely watched for clues to the shifts in their relationship.
"It's a little annoying having to be so compartmentalized," Stewart said of the attention. "But I'm going out a lot more now. I was starting to get closed off and self-conscious, and I'm trudging forth into the world more often."
Perhaps that's because she's feeling relief now that the "Twilight" era - or, at least, her part in it - is officially done.
"I start every project to finish the motherf****r, and to extend that [mentality] over a five-year period adapting all of these treasured moments over four books, it was constantly worrying," she said. "But as long as people's perspective of me doesn't keep me from doing what I want to do, it doesn't matter."
