Photos from Kate Middleton and Prince William’s honeymoon leaked online Wednesday and are stirring up controversy.
The royal couple spent their honeymoon on the north island of the Seychelles last year after their televised, very public April 2011 wedding.
Woman’s Day , an Australian magazine, reportedly published the photos of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s private trip.
The two can be seen on the cover of the magazine in their swimsuits walking on a beach while holding hands.
There are more than a dozen other photos of the couple inside the issue, according to an article on Yahoo.com.
Will and Kate are reportedly upset over the photos, which serve as a symbol of broken trust for the palace in relation to the family’s tragic history.
USAToday.com said several media sources did not follow the couple to their honeymoon destination at the request of the palace.
One source estimates a photo of the royal couple on their honeymoon would go for at least half a million dollars, but a photo showing Kate in a bikini might fetch $1 million dollars, according to Yahoo.com.
