Dr. Phil's stolen 1957 Chevy Bel Air recovered

Dr. Phil's stolen 1957 Chevy Bel Air is headed home.

The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department recovered the vehicle in a sting operation targeting an auto theft ring.  

Investigators say burglars had been hitting up vehicle repair shops and stealing classic vehicles across LA county and switching around the vehicle identification numbers to throw police off.  

So far, investigators say they've identified more than a dozen stolen cars.
