LOS ANGELES, California - Socialite Paris Hilton and her boyfriend were accosted by man outside a California courthouse.

As Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits were walking, a man grabbed Waits by the neck.

A bodyguard quickly subdued the man, identified as James Rainford.

"Oh my God that's another intruder who came to my house on a bike, he attacked my security at my home," a startled Hilton said. "This guy just attacked my boyfriend; I can't believe that same person is here."

As he was taken away, Rainford told the crowd that he had already proposed to Hilton and her father said yes.

Rainford has been arrested twice after showing up at Hilton's house and fighting with security guards. He was arrested after Wednesday's attack.

Hilton was in court to testify against another man, accused of trying to break into her home. That man, Nathan Lee Parada, faces a felony count of attempted residential burglary.
