Rocker TRACE CYRUS has vowed to give up alcohol and cigarettes in a bid to stay healthy on tour.
The tattooed star, son of Billy Ray Cyrus and brother to Miley, is supporting pop rock band Forever the Sickest Kids on their current tour, and he took to the stage in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday night (08Aug12).
Cyrus revealed to his Twitter.com followers after the show that he has ditched booze and nicotine because he wants to be "sober" for the duration of the concerts.
In a post, he writes, "No smoking or drinking at all today!!! Proud of myself!!! Trying to stay sober all tour!"
