Selena Gomez launches nail polish collection

Singer/actress SELENA GOMEZ has followed her on/off boyfriend JUSTIN BIEBER into the beauty industry by launching her own nail polish collection.

The Wizards of Waverly Place star has inked a deal with bosses at O.P.I. - the same company behind Bieber's The One Less Lonely Girl range in 2010 - to create the "sweet and spunky... flirty and fun" line for the firm's Nicole brand.

Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, Executive Vice President and Artistic Director of Nicole by O.P.I., says, "Selena is an ideal partner for Nicole by O.P.I. Millions of fans love her for the same reasons we do; she's smart, talented, funny - and has an incredible sense of style. She has that classic 'girl-next-door' appeal, but she's also edgy and fun - just like the Nicole consumer."

Gomez's favorite shades include Sweet Dreams, a violet-teal lacquer; Mi Fantasia, a purple glittery polish; Kissed at Midnight, a gold glitter paint, and Hit the Lights, a bright yellow.
