Marcia Cross plans India charity trip

Actress MARCIA CROSS is heading on a charity trip to India to raise awareness of child poverty.

The Desperate Housewives star has teamed up with Plan International USA to highlight the conditions youngsters face in the country, and she received her vaccinations for the jaunt on Tuesday (26Jun12).

In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Getting my shots for my trip to India with PLAN USA INTERNATIONAL!! Excited to see their work and be of service."

The organization works with communities in 50 developing countries to end the cycle of poverty for children.
