Pop star LADY GAGA is giving fans a safe place to seek help by setting up mental health awareness booths on her upcoming North American tour.

Last week (14Dec12), suspected gunman Adam Lanza, 20, opened fire at Newtown, Connecticut's Sandy Hook Elementary School, killing 20 kids and six staffmembers, prompting a widespread discussion about how to recognize and reach out to at-risk youths to prevent another tragedy.

Now the Bad Romance hitmaker has invited members of the National Council for Behavioral Health to set up stations outside each of her shows as part of her 27-city Born Brave Bus Tour, allowing followers to meet with psychologists if they need help.

Gaga's mom, Cynthia Germanotta, who is the president of the singer's Born This Way Foundation, says, "Now more than ever, our kids need access to support within their communities, including mental health services.

"By connecting youth to these local resources, we hope to plant the seeds that will help them deal with today's challenges and inspire them to continue exercising their strength and bravery well after the Born Brave Bus leaves town."
