John Cleese auctioning off Bentley and lunch

JOHN CLEESE is selling off his beloved Bentley at auction and he has offered to take the winning bidder out for lunch.

The A Fish Called Wanda star has teamed up with auctioneers at Original Memorabilia to sell off the luxury car he has owned for 25 years, and as the auction got underway on Friday (30Nov12), he added an extra treat in a bid to make sure the motor is a big hit.

Tweeting his followers, the funnyman wrote, "My dear old #Bentley of 25 years needs a new home and I will be delighted to take its new owner to lunch!"

The car will be up for auction for 10 days. Bidding had reached $4,000 as WENN went to press.
