Jennifer Lawrence rushes to aid ailing woman on her lawn

THE HUNGER GAMES star JENNIFER LAWRENCE rushed to the aid of a woman who collapsed outside her California apartment on Monday (25Jun12).

The kind-hearted 21 year old was walking her dog in Santa Monica when she spotted a distressed passerby lying in the grass.

Concerned for her safety, Lawrence kneeled beside the female and calmly waited with her until paramedics arrived.

X17Online.com has obtained a picture of the actress in action and Sergeant Richard Lewis has since confirmed Lawrence's involvement at the scene to the New York Daily News.

He tells the publication, "(Lawrence) was walking her dog when she saw the juvenile. She stood by as a Good Samaritan until officers arrived and spoke with them. It was a couple of juveniles involved in the incident. It could have been alcohol related. She’s OK."

The unnamed woman was treated at the scene and did not require hospitalisation.
