Cosgrove tired of picking up the cheque on dates

Single MIRANDA COSGROVE is convinced chivalry is dead - because she always has to pick up the cheque on dates.

The iCarly star is hoping to find a well-mannered boyfriend when she heads off to college at the University of Southern California this autumn (12) since she's sick of funding romances.

She says, "I'm not dating anyone right now. I did have a boyfriend not too long ago and he never paid for anything. I always ended up paying for him no matter what. He never paid for himself. He would find a way (to get out of paying for anything); he would go to the restroom, he would say he forgot his wallet, there was always something. It was crazy."
