Kait Parker can be seen weekday mornings on NewsChannel 5 and on our partner station, Fox 29.
Kait has the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal from the American Meteorological Society and is an instructor for a graduate level course on climate designed by NASA and the AMS.
While at the University of Missouri earning her degree in Atmospheric Science, Kait also taught a university course on Storm Chasing, was Treasurer of the Mizzou Meteorology Club and provided weather updates for local radio stations.
Kait has previously worked as a meteorologist in Montgomery, AL, Columbia, MO and interned in her hometown of Dallas, TX.
When Kait is not focused on the weather, she enjoys spending time with her lovable mutt, baking up a storm and soaking up Florida sunshine with any and all outdoor activities.
