As a Jacksonville, Florida native, Emerson Lotzia couldn't be more excited to be back in the Sunshine State, calling West Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast his home.
Emerson joins the WPTV/ESPN 760 sports team after spending the last 2-and-a-half years at KTVX in Salt Lake City, Utah where he had the opportunity to cover the NBA, major D-I programs (Utah, BYU, Utah State), Major League Soccer, Triple-A baseball and the Arena Football League.
Before Utah, Emerson spent three years as a sports anchor and reporter for the number one rated station in Elmira, New York. During his time at WETM-TV, Emerson covered a wide variety of sports like NASCAR and IndyCar at Watkins Glen International, the LPGA and the Champions Tour. Emerson won the 2008 New York State Associated Press Broadcasters award for best sports coverage as well as the 2009 New York State Broadcasters Association award for outstanding sportscast.
After attending Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville, Emerson traveled a few hours south to Orlando where his broadcasting career began at the University of Central Florida. Go Knights!
When he's not working, Emerson enjoys giving back to the community. He believes every person should try and play a part in making the community they live in a better place.
Emerson also enjoys staying fit, trying to play golf, cooking and hanging at the beach with his beautiful fiancée Meagan and their dog, Rufus.
