Dan Corcoran is an award-winning journalist who joined WPTV Newchannel 5 in March 2011.

A native of Haverhill, Massachusetts, Dan's television news career has taken him around the country. Most recently, he was an Anchor/Reporter/Producer at KEZI-TV in Eugene, Oregon. Prior to his years on the west coast, Dan worked at WMUR-TV in New Hampshire and as an Anchor/Producer at several cable television stations in Massachusetts. He began his journalism career waking up bright and early as a news intern for NBC's Today Show in New York City.

Dan holds degrees from both the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.

Dan is happy to be back reporting the news on the east coast and also back in the same time zone as his family.
