ASK THE ANCHORS: First concert you ever attended.
Jim Sackett: The Beatles. Atlantic City, New Jersey. 1964/1965
Shannon Cake: Madonna
Kelley Dunn: JOURNEY---(performed in Orlando) when I was a junior in High School
Jay Cashmere: Kenny Rogers
John Favole: I went to a "decency rally and concert" at the Orange Bowl in 1969 after The Doors concert in Miami a few weeks earlier, in which Jim Morrison was arrested for indecent exposure. Several local bands performed. My first "official" concert was probably "Three Dog Night" and Buddy Miles in 1972 at the old Hollywood Sportatorium. I remember tickets were $6!! Those were the days!
Roxanne Stein: Chicago. They were known back then as CTA. It was 1970 or '71 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Kait Parker: Baja Men. And I still don't know who, who let the dogs out.
Glenn Glazer: My first concert was Kool Mo Dee and Doug E. Fresh at RFK stadium in Washington DC. It was a madhouse... so crowded. I think I still have the t-shirt.
Lauren LaPonzina: New Kids On The Block (Sad, but true.)
Marci Gonzalez: Smashing Pumpkins! I had the strangest crush on Billy Corgan (the lead singer) when I was young. I thought it was cool to head-bang and ended up leaving the concert with a massive headache. I was/am such a nerd.
Evan Cohen: Michael Jackson. I remember my mom buying me his famous glove, I think it may still be in my parent's house in NY.
Keli Fulton: The first concert I ever attended was a free “back to school” concert in Ft. Worth, TX. I was with my brother, cousin, and little sister (who was 5 at the time and fell asleep J. I was 9 and I don’t remember everyone who performed, but I do remember the R&B group “Troop” performed. I loved “Troop” at the time so I was excited to see and hear them and I even got an autograph from one of them afterward!!
Steve Weagle: Foreigner
Jon Shainman: Squeeze in 1985 at the old Pier 84 in Midtown Manhattan. The Hooters opened up for them.
Dan Corcoran: My first 'real' concert was seeing U2 in Boston, Massachusetts. The show was incredible! It was the first time I was in a huge arena to see a show. i was up in the nosebleed seats, but I could still make out Bono and The Edge on stage. So cool!
Jason Pugh: Yellow Card (please don't ask why).
Mike Trim: Guns in Roses
1991 the St. Louis riot show!
