Benjamin Friberg, 35, is hoping to be the first person ever to stand-up paddle board from Cuba to Key West.
Friberg left Havana, Cuba, around noon on Thursday, and hopes to reach Key West sometime on Friday.
Last year, he set the world record for the farthest distance paddleboarding in a single day when he made it 238 miles along on the Yukon River in Canada.
Friberg, who's been stand-up paddleboarding for about four years, has been training for this latest journey over the past 12 months.
He has a team of ten people following him as he makes his way to Key West.
To track his progress, you can head to his website and click on the GPS tracker.
