DAVIE, FL--
ESPN reports that Miami Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown will be out for the rest of the year.
Brown injured his leg during the victory over the Tampa Bay Bucs Sunday.
He was on crutches after the game.
Ricky Williams will replace Brown and start for the first time this season when Miami plays Carolina Thursday. He'll also become the primary triggerman if the Dolphins run the wildcat formation.
