This couldn't of been what Jason Taylor signed on for after he came back to Miami. Taylor saw the Dolphins make the post-season without him a year ago and returned to the Fins for a fraction of what he could of gotten elsewhere. Now once again, Taylor has to suffer through a year where the best offensive player is now out for the year. Chad Pennington, is done. Now it's Chad Henne's turn to take over the reins and see if he can even salvage the season.
Henne was going to take over this team next season anyway. However now he gets a head start with the Fins and with the season pretty much over for this club, you might as well throw Henne to the fire and allow him to grow into the position. With an 0-3 record and the toughest schedule in the NFL, the Fins chances of making the post-season in the first place was remote at best.
With the Bills in town this weekend, now is Henne's chance to show he was worth the 2nd round pick in 2008 and that he's the next QB to follow and lead the Dolphins into the future.
