Let's not get too crazy Dolfans. It's just one game. Yes, the team looked pretty brutal on offense yesterday and the team looks as if they didn't even bother showing up their 19-7 loss against the Atlanta Falcons, but there are plenty of games left for the team to play and make another run to the post-season. Did we already forget last year? The Fins lost their first two games before winning 11 of their last 14 en route to claiming the AFC East title.
I understand the Dolphins have the toughest schedule in the NFL this year. Playing teams at nearly a .600 winning percentage, but this team has plenty of wins in them and still has a shot to win anywhere from 9 to 10 games this year and make the playoffs again.
We love to panic when things go terribly wrong for our favorite team and I do see the Dolphins have some massive problems they need to clean up if they're going to beat the Colts on Monday Night Football next week at Land Shark Stadium. However here's some news for you....I think the Dolphins will beat Indianapolis next week at home and all this talk will be for naught. The Colts certainly didn't look very good in their first win over the Jaguars on Sunday and I have no doubt that with some home cooking and the team hungry to get the bad taste out of their mouths from the Falcons, the Fins will do what they need to do to get their first victory of the 2009 season.
Just promise me people, let's not panic just yet.
