BOCA RATON, FL--Eric Dansky is on his way to the Maccabiah Games. The FAU cross country runner will be a part of team USA's team in Israel July 12th-23rd. The 19 year old won't have to look far from someone familiar to be with him. That's because Owls track and cross country coach Alex Smolka is the head coach for the team in the games too.
Security of course is always an issue when it comes to these international events. However both Alex and Eric, neither one of them are that concerned, both of them are just excited about the overall experience they're going to get.
It's an event both Eric and Alex will have with them forever.
