The next few days promise great opportunities to view the shuttle and space station. If you've never seen it, it's definitely worth a look. The first opportunity is early Friday morning, then again in the evening on Saturday and Sunday night. It will look like a bright star or planet crossing the sky, and it will take 4-5 minutes to reach the horizon. Here's a graphic for the Friday morning viewing.
