Windy conditions persist into the first part of the week, with a strong high pressure system off the coast. The wind is not because of Ida, which is forecast to track into the Gulf on monday. This storm should stay well to the west, but bring us clouds and rain by the midweek. Indications are that Ida will track into the Panhandle, while at the same time her energy will be entrained in a front racing into the Gulf.Tonight: Partly Cloudy and Windy, NE 20 mph, Isolated Shower, Low 71.Sunday: Partly Sunny, Windy, High 82. NE 15029 mph.Monday: Hazy Sun and Breezy, High 892.Tuesday through Thursday: Sunny Breaks, Periods of rain, Highs 80-83.steve Weagle
