If you're up before sunrise, be sure to check out the crescent Moon and Venus low in the eastern sky just before sunrise. Early Wednesday morning will be your best chance to see them very close together, then early Saturday mroning Venus and the bright star Regulus will be less then 1 degree apart. Venus is magnitude -3.9 right now, making it one of the brightest objects in the sky.
