Well, after some perfectly groomed swell the past few days, time to chop things up. At least it'll send some rideable surf to all of south Florida. Underlying swell will be there from a nice Northeast fetch the past couple days off the Carolinas and Northeast. That should give some punch and size behind the chop. Looks like a lot of good exercise ahead...
WEDNESDAY: The wind will be the weakest Wednesday then pick up from there. Might even see some sideshore direction in the morning. Surf should build throughout the day. waist-chest then bigger by sunset. Underlying long period swell showing up through all of palm beach county.
THURSDAY: Head high blown out mess. North-northeast wind 15-20. Probably some good lines to be had. A pretty good south drift will keep you busy. Underlying long period swell will be there too. Find protection.
FRIDAY: Northeast wind pick up even more. 20-25kts. Surf builds to head high to overhead. Blownout. Try to find some protection to block the wind.
SATURDAY-SUNDAY: Wind starts to turn more due east. Staying windy about 20kts. surf stays up, underlying swell dies off for the palm beaches. Chest-head high bowly straight windchop. Less drift.
EXTENDED: Winds slowly turns more southeast but stays windy so look for an extended period of waves, nothing perfect but at least consistant rideable surf for at least a week! Also looks like another underlying long period swell will start to fill in Sunday and Monday.
