MARCO ISLAND, FL-- Scores of people on Marco Island witnessed an unusual sight on the beach Thursday morning - a waterspout making it ashore.
It happened around noon, and scattered beach chairs when it hit land, at which point it officially became a tornado, albeit a weak one.
The twister made it past the beach and headed into some buildings before it dissipated.
No serious damage was reported.
