JUPITER, FL--A woman has died after her husband says she fell off his boat.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit responded to a boating distress call about a mile out from the Jupiter Inlet, 19075 Dubois Road, at 2:47 p.m. on Saturday.

Deputies began C.P.R. on the 30-year-old woman when they arrived on scene.

The woman's husband, who was driving his 24 ft. boat, stated that he heard a thud sound and saw that his wife had fallen overboard.  He then turned the boat around, got her back into the boat, and called the Coast Guard, according to officials.

The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office responded to the distress call.  The victim was brought ashore taken by trauma hawk to St. Mary’s Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
