Last Update: 8/18/2009 11:19 am
Records indicate that from 18 states and Canada participated in this years event covering all coasts.  Events ranged in type from two-day extravaganza's to intimate community events which provided a fun atmosphere for those interested in water related activities as well as the opportunity to gather together to enjoy one of our Nation's greatest assets;  the working waterfronts.  Participants had the chance to see and enjoy the facilities, nature and the enjoy the associated camaraderie.

On behalf of Old Port Cove Holdings, Inc. and New Port Cove Marine Center we would like to thank all those who donated time, funds, materials and handouts, and Vessel Safety Checks for our National Marina Day event held earlier this month.

National Marina Day is celebrated in conjunction with the Association of Marina Industries, the national trade association of the marina industry. Thank you once again for your participation.
