NEAR FUNEN, DENMARK--Royal Caribbean's "Oasis of the Seas" barely cleared a bridge last night as it departed Denmark.

Five times larger than the ill-fated "Titanic," "Oasis" is the largest and most expensive passenger ship ever built.

Standing 213 feet above the waterline, the ship's chimneys had to be lowered so the ship could eek underneath the bridge with about one and a half feet of clearance.

With a price tag of $one point three billion, "Oasis" features 22 different staterooms, double-decker loft suites, a golf course and a capacity for 63-hundred passengers with a crew of 21-hundred.

The ship is more than eleven-hundred feet long.

"Oasis" was completed on Wednesday in Finland and is now en route to its home port of Fort Lauderdale.

From there, the ship will make its maiden voyage with passengers on December first, when it sails the Caribbean and docks in Haiti.
