NEPTUNE MEMORIAL REEF TREASURE HUNT DIVE OFFERS TROVE OF MIAMI AREA PRIZES
Divers from all over will be vying to find $1000 coins and prizes donated by Divers Direct and restaurants and businesses.
FT LAUDERDALE, FL – Divers who take part in the Neptune Memorial Reef’s first annual Treasure Hunt Dive will be hunting prizes that include some of the Miami area’s top retailers and businesses. Scores of area businesses from restaurants and museums to retail stores have generously donated prizes to the unique hunt, which is attracting divers from all over the area.
The daylong Treasure Hunt Dive will take place at the Neptune Memorial Reef, the world’s largest man-made reef and a unique new concept in memorialization that celebrates life, which is located three miles East of Key Biscayne and Miami. It is taking place on October 16th.
The event is being co-sponsored by Divers Direct (www.diversdirect.com) which is the world’s largest scuba gear shop. They are donating more than $2,000 in prizes. Divers Direct services the SCUBA community by offering a complete scuba certification curriculum and a large selection of scuba Gear including scuba tanks, dive computers, scuba regulators, scuba wetsuits, and scuba masks from the world’s top manufacturers like Aqualung, Oceanic, Evo, Mares, and many others.
In addition to the $1000 coins, divers will be seeking prizes donated by these companies: South Beach’s Prime 112, Graspa Group, Books and Books, Historical Museum of Southern Florida, Westview Country Club in Miami, Sudsies Dry Cleaners & Laundry, Ocean Drive Magazine, Bass Museum of Art, Miami Art Museum, Jewish Museum of Florida, Eanie Meanie, SEE Eye Wear, Joe Allen and Pollo Tropical.
