Want a free, easy way to share our photos, videos and life with your loved ones, without having to worry about inappropriate material or unwanted eyes?
Now, one new site claims to give you total control of who's looking at your life.
In an age where sharing your life with the world is as easy as clicking a mouse, new websites are popping up to accommodate every age group and every purpose.
Welcome to one such site, Multiply.com.
This local company has started a website designed keep you in touch with your loved ones and friends, without unwanted attention.
We caught up with Peter Pezaris, President and CEO of Multiply.com and asked him what his product is all about.
"Multiply.com provides for its customers an easy to use, free website to enable the sharing online of your life with people that you actually know..in real life."
In real life..that means no more wondering who's looking at your media unlike other sharing sites.
Pizares: "Myspace is a site where everybody's profiles are pooled into this giant sea of content. Where you log onto MySpace you can go to anyone's profile to see their things and they try to go out of thier way to make everyone feel they are attending a big party."
For those of you that want to opt out of the big party and settle instead for an intimate gathering, Multiply.com might be it for you.
The site lets you upload video, photos and blogs and lets you, the user, choose exactly who you want to view your material.
So, we decided to try it out.
We set up an account with Multiply.com, began inviting friends and started posting photos.
Turns out, Multiply.com is not only free and safe...but it's easy too!
From photos of your child's birthday to vacation blunders, Multiply.com allows you to share your life with your world..not the whole world.
