Biography:
Rudolph W. Giuliani was born in 1944 to a working class Italian family in Brooklyn, New York.
After the inauguration of Ronald Reagan in 1981, Rudy was named Associate Attorney General. In that position he supervised all of the US attorney offices' law enforcement agencies.
In 1993, Rudy became the first Republican elected Mayor of the City of New York in a generation. He was mayor during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
After leaving office as mayor, Giuliani founded Giuliani Partners, a security consulting business, and joined the Bracewell & Giuliani law firm, which changed its name when he became a partner.
In May of 2003, Giuliani married Judith S. Nathan. He has two children.
