KENDALL, FL -  Police are investigating a body found surrounded by bees on the roof of a building.

Miami-Dade police officials said this morning they don't yet know whether the person was killed by the bees or exactly how the person died.

The body was found in the 10800 block of Southwest 84th Street. It was hoisted from the roof with a crane.

The Miami Herald reports the victim was a man who died after going to his roof to remove bees. But it's unclear whether his death was caused by bee stings.

Video from a WSVN-Ch. 7 helicopter over the scene showed several workers in beekeeper suits on the roof as the body was removed.
