Strangulation risk leads to recall of window shades

WASHINGTON, DC -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued three new recalls, all involving roll-up window shades and window blinds that could pose a strangulation risk to children, whose heads could become entangled in the strings and chains used to lift-and-lower the shades.

The largest, involving 533,000 shades, involves ones sold by IKEA. Click here to learn more.
