WEST PALM BEACH, FL -- A number of area restaurants and businesses will be honoring veterans today, but offering a number of freebies.
Several restaurants will be giving away free meals, including:
- Applebee's will be offering free meals all day, with a limited menu, at their nine local restaurants
- Duffy's Sports Grill locations will give veterans a free meal, as long as another meal is purchases. Vets who dine alone will receive a 50% discount.
- Golden Corral restaurants will offer veterans a free dinner on Monday, November 16 from 5pm - 9pm only.
- Outback Steakhouse locations will give veterans a free "Bloomin' Onion" as well as a free drink all day today.
- Free car washes for veterans today only at Motor City Car Wash locations in Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach and Royal Palm Beach/Wellington.
In addition, several
Chick-fil-A stores in South Florida will be having a "Receipt Day" today. All customers who come in and make a purchase today (not just veterans) can return within the next two weeks and receive an identical order for free. Customers must return with their original receipt at the following participating locations along the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast:
- Stuart
- The Gardens Mall
- 1262 Northlake Blvd.
- 2070 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.
- Okeechobee & Turnpike (6060 Okeechobee Blvd.)
- The Mall at Wellington Green
- 1560 W. Boynton Beach Blvd.
