DELRAY BEACH, FL -- Delray Beach police say a 64-year-old man shot himself at the Delray Shooting Range just before 4 p.m. Friday.
According to police, the man, a resident of Delray Beach, came to the shooting center and rented a handgun.
Police say he bought ammunition and targets, entered a shooting stall and shot at his targets for half hour.
Police say the man then turned the gun on himself and fired one shot. Several other people were in the range shooting their guns, none of these people were injured, said police.
The victim was transported to Delray Medical Center where he was pronounced as dead.
