Suspects involved in chase appear in court

BOYNTON BEACH, FL--Three suspects police say were involved in a high speed chase that ended on I-95 made an appearance in court Saturday morning.

Police say Robert Thomas, Jameria Berry, and Travis Anderson used a stun gun to rob a group of contractors of their tools near Galaxy Elementary in Boynton Beach Friday afternoon.

When police approached, the trio sped away on I-95 southbound.  They are charged with armed robbery, fleeing and eluding, trespassing school property with a weapon, and aggravated battery and assault on a law enforcement officer.

Traffic on I-95 was heavily backed up because of the incident.
