BOYNTON BEACH, FL--A seven-year-old girl was rushed to a local hospital after falling out of a second story window Friday night.

Boynton Beach Fire Rescue responded to the Las Ventanas apartments around 6 p.m. after bystanders reported seeing a little girl falling from a balcony window.

They say she was moving when rescue crews arrived.

The brand new apartments sit near the intersection of Woolbright Road and US-1. It is unclear at this point who was at home with the child at the time.

The still unidentified child was taken to Delray Medical Center as a trauma patient.

Investigators say she suffered a broken femur, dislocated shoulder and cuts to her chin.
