BOCA RATON, FL -- Nearly two dozen of South Florida's most dedicated volunteers will be honored in Boca Raton this week.
The Junior League of Boca Raton is hosting the 22nd Annual Woman Volunteer of the Year Award Luncheon and Fashion Show on Friday, November 13 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club.
The reception will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a silent auction and the luncheon following at 11:30 a.m.
The nominees were nominated by various non-profits for the presitigious award.
Money raised from the event will support the Junior League of Boca Raton's community projects.
The Saks Fifth Avenue fashion show will feature the Best of the Fall 2009 Collection.
NewsChannel 5's Paige Kornblue will serve as the event emcee. The Woman Volunteer of the Year Award is presented by the Boca Raton Community Hospital Foundation.
Tickets for the event start at $85.
