Pediatric and dental center coming

OKEECHOBEE COUNTY, FL - Florida Community Health Center will break ground on a new pediatric and dental facility Thursday, November 12th.

The $3.5 million facility will be funded in part by $1.6 million in federal stimulus grants.

The new pediatrics and dental center is scheduled to open Fall 2010. 

The center will be named the Dr. Fred Brown Children’s Health Center, in recognition of his work with Okeechobee families for nearly 30 years.
