OKEECHOBEE, FL - The Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office fired him back in July.
Now former Detective Sergeant Tommie Joe Brock faces criminal charges.
An arrest affidavit from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement explains why.
It says Brock checked a female inmate out of the jail in early June.
He walked her over, in handcuffs and leg shackles, to detectives' offices where he forced her to have sex.
FDLE detectives say she reported the incident and they started their investigation.
Brock reportedly checked the inmate out again on July 2nd.
The affidavit says he ordered her to perform oral sex, despite her protests.
Other sheriff's office personnel saw the woman crying as Brock walked her back to the jail.
Brock was a 23-year veteran of the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office.
The documents say he's now employed as a truck driver.
