Free H1N1 clinic for Tequesta residents

TEQUESTA, FL--The Village of Tequesta will now offer H1N1 Vaccinations free-of-charge to Village residents. 

Tequesta Fire-Rescue Paramedics will administer the vaccination at the fire stations. 

Residents must register by calling the “H1N1 Vaccination Hotline” at 744-4052 and provide their name, address and phone number.  As the vaccine shipments arrive, a fire-rescue representative will contact you to schedule an appointment. 

Vaccines are expected to come in multiple small shipments and will be administered as long as supplies last.   

Those wishing to receive the H1N1 Vaccination must fall within the “Target Population” as defined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Currently that includes:

1)    All pregnant women

2)    All children ages 6 months to 24 years

3)    All caregivers of children less than 6 months old

4)    Adults between 24 and 49 years of age with underlying medical conditions such as Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Immunosuppressive diseases

5)    Health Care Workers
